Sometimes a room doesn't need a complete makeover. It just needs a few small changes to make it feel better.
That's what happened with the bedroom in our tiny home.
I wanted to give the room a little refresh, and one of the things I decided to add was a full-length mirror. It wasn't completely random either — a full-length mirror is something guests have requested in several of our rentals over the years.
I started with one mirror, but once I put it up, the wall just didn't look quite right to me.
So naturally, I bought another one.
Two full-length mirrors, a little greenery in the corner, and a few small changes later, the bedroom felt much more finished.

A Small Tiny Home Bedroom Refresh
This wasn't one of our major renovations. We weren't tearing anything out or completely redesigning the room.
I really just wanted to freshen it up a little.
One thing I've learned from working on our rentals is that sometimes the smaller, practical changes make just as much difference as the big projects.
In this case, adding full-length mirrors gave guests something useful while also filling a wall that needed a little something.
Why I Wanted a Full-Length Mirror in the Bedroom
The biggest reason I started adding full-length mirrors wasn't actually decorating.
Guests had asked for them.
We've had guests in several of our rentals mention wanting a place where they could see their entire outfit before heading out.
It's one of those little conveniences that's easy to overlook when you're setting up a room, but once guests started mentioning it, it made sense.
Something I learned from our guests:
A full-length mirror may seem like a small detail, but it's something guests actually use. After getting requests for them, I've started adding full-length mirrors to almost all of our rentals.
One Mirror Turned Into Two
I originally bought one full-length mirror for this bedroom.
Once we put it on the wall, though, something about it looked a little off to me. The wall still felt unbalanced.
I decided to add a second matching mirror beside it, and I liked the look much better.
Instead of one mirror looking like something we added simply because we needed it, the pair started to feel like part of the room's design.
That's one of my favorite kinds of updates — something that serves an actual purpose but also makes the room look better.
Full-Length Mirrors Work Well in a Small Bedroom
In a tiny home, I don't want to add furniture or decor just to fill space.
Everything takes up valuable room, so wall-mounted pieces can be especially useful.
These mirrors give us the full-length view guests wanted without requiring another piece of furniture on the floor.
They also help reflect light around the room, which I like in a smaller bedroom.
And although we have ours mounted on the wall, the mirrors can be taken down and moved around if we ever decide we want to use them somewhere else.
My Full-Length Mirror Review
After putting these in the tiny home — and buying full-length mirrors for several of our other rentals too — I made a quick video showing the mirror and how it looks in the room.

The Mirror Is Useful Beyond the Tiny Home
I ended up liking the idea of having a full-length mirror for guests enough that I've bought them for almost all of our rentals.
It's not necessarily the exact same setup in every room, but I've realized that having a full-length mirror is one of those small amenities that's worth thinking about when you're setting up a guest space.
There's still one rental where I need to add one, so apparently my full-length mirror project isn't quite finished yet.
How the Mirror Mounts to the Wall
One thing I like about this style is that we're able to keep the mirror mounted against the wall instead of having it permanently take up floor space.
The back of the mirror shows how it attaches, and because it isn't permanently built into the room, we still have the option of taking it down and moving it if we want to change the setup later.
Adding a Little Greenery Finished the Corner
The mirrors weren't the only thing I changed.
I also added a plant in the corner, which was another really simple addition but helped soften the space.
With the mirrors on the wall and the greenery beside them, that part of the bedroom finally felt more intentional instead of like an empty corner I hadn't figured out yet.
Adding the second mirror and a little greenery made this side of the bedroom feel much more finished.
It didn't take a major makeover to make the room feel cuter and more finished.
Small Changes Can Make a Rental Feel More Thoughtful
I think that's probably my biggest takeaway from this little bedroom refresh.
When you're updating a rental or small bedroom, everything doesn't have to be a major renovation.
Sometimes listening to what people actually need gives you the best ideas.
In this case, guests asking for full-length mirrors led to something that made the bedroom more functional and, once I added the second mirror, made the room look better too.
Would I add full-length mirrors to a guest bedroom again?
Definitely. I've already started adding them to our other rentals. They're practical for guests, don't take up much room when mounted on the wall, and can also become part of the room's decor.

What Small Update Would You Make Next?
I still have plenty of little changes I'd like to make around our rentals, but I really like how much difference these simple updates made in this room.
Would you have used one full-length mirror here, or do you like the look of two?
