Pink or black bar stools? That's the decision I've been trying to make for our kitchen, and I'm curious which color you would choose.

I love adding a little color to our house, so naturally the pink bar stools caught my attention. But black is classic, goes with just about everything, and gives the kitchen a completely different look.

That's one of the things I like about the idea. If you love color but don't necessarily want an entire pink kitchen, seating can add that color in a much smaller way.

Then there's black. Black bar stools give the same kitchen a more classic look and can tie in with other black accents throughout a room.

How Do You Choose a Bar Stool Color?

I think a lot of this comes down to what you want your bar stools to do in the room. Do you want them to add color and personality, or would you rather have them coordinate with the rest of the kitchen?

Pink makes the seating more of a statement. Black gives you a more neutral option that can work with lots of different colors and decorating styles.

And because bar stools aren't a permanent part of the kitchen, they're also something you can change later without taking on another renovation project.
