Black or White Bathroom Walls? See Both Looks in Our Bathroom

Black or white bathroom walls? I wanted to see how different the same bathroom could look just by changing the wall color!

Our bathroom already has a lot of character, and I love seeing how one decorating decision can change the feel of an entire room. Black walls bring a more dramatic look, while white walls create a lighter backdrop.

But which one would you choose?

Black vs. White Bathroom Walls: Side-by-Side Comparison

Here's a look at the two options together. Same bathroom, two very different wall colors!

Black versus white bathroom walls side-by-side design comparison — BLACK OR WHITE? Which bathroom wall color would you choose?

Option 1: Black Bathroom Walls

First up: black walls!

Black brings a bold, dramatic look to the bathroom. Against the lighter elements in the room, it creates contrast and makes the design feel a little more unexpected.

I like seeing how the darker wall color changes the overall look without needing to redesign the entire bathroom.

Option 2: White Bathroom Walls

Now here's the same bathroom with white walls.

The white option gives the room a lighter, more open feel. Instead of making the wall color the main feature, it lets the other details in the bathroom stand out.

If you prefer a brighter look, this option might be more your style.

Black or White Behind the Bathroom Vanity?

The full-room views are helpful, but I also wanted to compare the wall color around the vanity. Sometimes seeing a smaller section of the room makes it easier to decide which look you prefer.

Which Bathroom Wall Color Would You Choose?

I love seeing everyone's different decorating preferences, especially when the choices make the same room look so different.

Would you go with black walls for a bold look, or white walls for a brighter feel? And would your answer change if you were choosing just the wall behind the vanity instead of the whole bathroom?
