Would you put a chandelier ceiling fan in a laundry room?
I know a laundry room might not be the first place you think of when choosing a chandelier, but why not make a room you use all the time a little prettier?
We chose a fandelier for ours — a ceiling fan and chandelier in one — and I love how it adds something unexpected to the space.

Why Put a Fandelier in a Laundry Room?
A laundry room is a practical space, but that doesn't mean every choice in it has to be purely practical-looking.
We like mixing useful features with details that give a room some personality. A fandelier combines a ceiling fan with the look of a chandelier, so it felt like a fun choice for this room.
It's also one of those fixtures that gets people talking. Some people love a chandelier in an unexpected place, while others would rather keep a laundry room simple.
A fandelier, a regular ceiling fan, or a simple light fixture?

The Fandelier and Gold Details We Chose
If you're looking for a similar look, here are the details from our laundry room.
The main feature is our fandelier. It's the piece that inspired the question behind this whole post: would you put a chandelier-style ceiling fan in a laundry room?
We also used cabinet handles and gold door knobs to carry the gold accents through the room.
I like how the smaller details work with the statement light without every part of the room needing to be fancy.
Would You Choose a Fandelier or a Regular Light?
I'm curious what everyone else would do. Would you choose a fandelier for a laundry room, or would you save a chandelier-style fixture for a dining room or bedroom?
