Sometimes you read the words on a bag and decide to take them a little too literally.
In this case, the words were "premixed concrete."
If it's premixed, shouldn't you just be able to open the bag and pour it out?
Apparently not.
Wait... This Is Premixed Concrete?
My son decided to give us his very serious review of a bag of premixed concrete.
There was just one problem.
He opened the bag and discovered that the "premixed" concrete was completely dry.
Clearly, something had gone terribly wrong. 😂

So Obviously We Added Water
Since the concrete clearly wasn't ready to pour straight out of the bag, the logical next step was to add some water.
To the bag.
And shake it.
Because that's obviously how concrete works.
Important: This was a joke. Please do not use this as a concrete-mixing tutorial. Follow the actual instructions on the product you're using.
Maybe "Premixed" Doesn't Mean What We Thought
As it turns out, premixed concrete doesn't mean someone was thoughtful enough to mix the water in before you bought it.
Who knew?
So while I wouldn't recommend using this video as your next how to mix concrete tutorial, I will give him credit for coming up with a much more entertaining interpretation of the instructions.
Projects Around Here Aren't Always Serious
We do a lot of actual projects around here — home renovations, building projects, makeovers, flipping things, and fixing things that probably would have been easier to just buy new.
My son has also been involved in some of the projects that actually worked, including helping build our fireplace TV wall.

But every once in a while, apparently we also review bags of concrete.
Final review: Premixed concrete: apparently still requires mixing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ entertainment value, though.
